Training and Certification Workshop
Billings, Montana

Hosted by: Crazy Mountain Kennels, Big Timber, Montana
Workshop Overview:
Training and Certification will be available in all areas, including Obedience, Article Search, Area Search, Tracking - Trailing, Building Search, Aggression Control, Narcotics Detection, SAR Area Search and Cadaver Detection, as well as problem solving.
All levels of experience will be challenged in this workshop. Training will be geared for the experience level of individual teams.
We have assembled a highly sought after group of Instructors for this workshop. Over 100 years total Police dog training experience from various backgrounds. You will get 40 Hours of Montana Post Credit for workshop. Field exercises will be during the day.

Rick Ashabranner - Jeffersonville, Indiana (NAPWDA Master Trainer)

Kevin Klostermeier – Montana (NAPWDA Trainer)
You do not need to be a NAPWDA member to attend and train but you must be a CURRENT & in good standing NAPWDA member if you wish to certify in any of the certification areas offered. PLEASE be familiar with NAPWDA By-laws and Certification rules as they will be followed for certification purposes, NO EXCEPTIONS. You can find these rules by going to www.napwda.com/about and clicking on the Bylaws and Certification Rules (either MSWord or Adobe files) on the left edge middle area of the page.
Workshop Registration Fee: The below cost is per K9 team. A Team consists of one dog and one handler. There is an added cost for one handler with more than one dog - see following schedule of fees.
Dual-purpose team: $200.00; Single Purpose team: $150.00; SAR only team: $150.00; Additional dogs for the same handler will be $100.00 each.
Non-NAPWDA Members: Add $45.00 in addition to registration fees, which includes a one year NAPWDA membership. This is for teams that want to become NAPWDA certified. Teams do not need to join NAPWDA if they are coming for training only.
