Course Objectives:
Class starts at 8:00 a.m. and runs until all dogs complete course objective.

Sun 10/24:
Registration and check in after 5:00 p.m. Annual Meeting 5:00 p.m. at Hotel

Mon 10/25:
PRACTICALS: Searches for evidence with K9: overview of each type of search
CLASS: Crime Scene Preservation / HazMat Awareness

Tue 10/26:
PRACTICALS: Searches for evidence with K9: vehicles, buildings and open fields
CLASS: K9 Health and First Aid, CPR and bandaging

Wed 10/27:
PRACTICALS: Searches with K9: scent discrimination, containers and clothing
CLASS: Special Investigative Topics

Thu 10/28:
PRACTICALS: Searches for Evidence with K9: crime scenes and fire scenes
CLASS: Heartsaver CPR and Blood borne Pathogens

Fri 10/29:
PRACTICALS: troubleshooting, testing, certifications and canine trials.

All NAPWDA Associate member SAR canine handlers must provide the testing Master Trainer(s) Proof of Completion of the following courses prior to testing: Crime Scene Preservation Course, HAZMAT Awareness Course, Blood borne Pathogens Course, NIMS and ICS Training Courses, IS-700, ICS-100 and ICS-200 (Classes available at conference).
