Dwane Foisy

Vice-President Dwane Foisy began his career in 1988 with the Pittsfield Police Department, Pittsfield, Massachusetts.  He was assigned his first K9 in 1991.  Dwane joined NAPWDA in 1992.  He became a Captain with the Berkshire County Sheriff's Office (MA) in 2013.  Dwane continually handled dual purpose dogs until his retirement in 2020 after 32 years in law enforcement.  In addition to handling, Dwane began training other K9 teams in 1998. 

Dwane is a Founder and Past-President of the Massachusetts Police Work Dog Association.  Dwane is a North American Police Work Dog Association Master Trainer in Utility and Narcotics and an all around great guy.
